about

Recorded on July 14 2016 at The Linda in Albany NY

"Albany is only sparkles. This show was the second show of the return to Miracle Legion, the band who’d had enough and then came back for just a little more. We love each other. We’re not a nervous band, but maybe a little jumpy that evening. Scott threw down a no banter challenge and I silently accepted save for the quote that is now the title. Of course there’s nothing measly about the cradle of the union. The home of Martha Quinn, Santa Claus and the bakers dozen could never be insignificant. We may have played that town more times than any other. Maybe it just feels that way. Here’s to the QE2 and Jimmy Webb and all the people who never went to bed. Your assiduity is legend." -MM-
